Here at foodPark HQ we need no excuse to get festive and have some good old fashioned fun! So when the season rolled round again we jumped(!) at the chance to be part of and to support Save The Children's Christmas Jumper Day! Coincidentally it is also on Friday 16 December, the same day as our last foodPark outing of 2016. Even less excuses needed!
The foodPark team and traders will be joining hundreds and thousands of people in schools, offices and homes up and down the country as they sport a festive sweater for the day and donate just £2 to the cause. If you can't make it down to see us then please donate by texting TEAMFOODPARK to 70050.
All the money that is raised will help save children's lives in some of the toughest parts of the world including Syria, Liberia, Haiti and Bangladesh. Find more information HERE.
Find us at Mill Park CB1, a stones throw from Cambridge Train Station. Serving you at the final foodPark this year are four of our top-notch traders: Buffalo Joe's, Guerrilla Kitchen, Steak & Honour and The Wandering Yak. You can expect the usual delicious eats from them as well as some exciting festive specials. Hatches open at 12.
So come out on Friday wearing your most snazziest seasonal knitwear and support foodPark's last pitch of the year and, most importantly, Save The Children.
It's great way to kick off the festive period, finish your week with a bang and do your bit for "charidee".
See you on the streets!
P.s. We are back after our well earned break on Wednesday 1 February 2017 at West Cambridge Site. Put it in your diary. In pen.
